Al Bidya Mosque & Fujairah Fort Excursion

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Dubai between 8:30 and 9 AM, followed by a one-hour ride towards the Friday Market located near Masafi.

As we depart the bustling city, you will witness stunning landscapes featuring mountains and farmland in Al Dhaid. Upon reaching the market, you will have the opportunity to browse an array of stalls offering fruits, vegetables, carpets, toys, and much more—there's something for everyone!

Having enjoyed the Friday Market, we will return to the bus and proceed to the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Mosque in Fujairah, the second largest mosque in the UAE, which can accommodate up to 28,000 worshippers due to its impressive scale.

Following this visit, we'll head towards the historic Fujairah Fort, built in 1670 and recognized as the oldest fort in the nation. For centuries, it served as a primary defense structure along the coast. During the tour, we will share intriguing stories about this landmark, which has also functioned as a residence for prominent officials of the emirate. You will undoubtedly appreciate the restored homes reflecting the traditional Emirati lifestyle adjacent to the Fujairah Fort.

Continuing our adventure, we'll navigate through the city of Khor Fakan, admiring the stunning waterfall en route before we arrive at the Al Bidya Mosque. Constructed in 1446 amidst the Hajar Mountains, this mosque holds the title of the oldest standing mosque today, preserving its original structure from the 15th century.

We will also explore an ancient Roman theater before journeying back to Fujairah, where you'll have two and a half hours to enjoy lunch. After a satisfying meal, we will embark on our return to the hotels, with an estimated arrival between 4:30 and 5 PM.

If you choose the package that includes lunch, you will savor a delightful buffet at a hotel with private beach access, and both water and soft drinks will be provided. Should you opt for the alternative without lunch, you will have the freedom to dine at a restaurant of your preference in Fujairah.
