At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your hotel on Easter Island to embark on an exhilarating journey along the Hanga Roa coastline.

Once at Hanga Piko, the fishing harbor of the island’s capital, we will meet with a knowledgeable expert fisherman from the Rapa Nui community. This guide will accompany us on our thrilling excursion. We will board a boat and set sail into the Pacific, admiring the stunning shoreline of Hanga Roa.

As we take in the breathtaking views from the sea, our guide will share insights into the traditional fishing methods that Rapa Nui locals have preserved for centuries. We will observe the use of handmade hooks and harpoons, and understand how the fishermen can hold their breath for two minutes while diving to catch fish.

Following the demonstration, we will continue to explore the coastline of Hanga Roa, discovering its natural wonders such as towering cliffs and intriguing caves. While onboard, we will enjoy captivating views and learn about the rich cultural heritage of Rapa Nui island.
