Once the guided portion concludes, you are welcome to explore the hallmark sites of Edinburgh Castle at your own pace, with highlights including:

• Crown Square, the central courtyard of the castle, offering views of the Great Hall and its impressive collection of arms and armor.

Note that this option is not suitable for those intending to only view the exterior of the castle, as exterior tours are only available for a limited timeframe. Without a ticket, participation in this tour will not be possible.
