Usage Instructions

The validity of your card starts from the date of its first use. Once activated, it remains valid for 48 hours. For instance, if you activate your Royal Edinburgh Ticket on a Monday at noon, it will expire on Wednesday at 11:59 AM.

Collection of Tickets

To take advantage of the features offered by the Royal Edinburgh Ticket, you must exchange your voucher at the sightseeing bus stop located at Waterloo Place.

From September 6 to November 23, 2026, please be aware that the Waterloo Place bus stop will not be functional. During this period, the starting point for the tour will be temporarily moved to George Street, stop GG, across from the Assembly Rooms (EH2 2HT). Alternatively, tickets can also be collected at St. Andrew Square (EH2 1AF). You can view a map of the temporary route.
