Located merely five kilometers from Egilsstadir, the Vök Baths offer a distinctive bathing experience set in a stunning environment of East Iceland.
Earning this admission grants access to the inviting hot springs, where you can savor marvelous vistas of Lake Urridavatn and its picturesque surroundings. Allow yourself to drift into relaxation as you enjoy the geothermal pools, complemented by a steam bath or traverse a cold tunnel featuring a mist shower inside.
Operating Hours
The Vök Baths are accessible during these times:
- From September 1st to October 15th: 12 pm to 10 pm
- From October 16th to May 31st: Monday to Friday, 4 pm to 10 pm; Saturdays and Sundays, 12 pm to 10 pm
Please note that the last entry to the hot springs is allowed 45 minutes before the closing hour.

You can hire a bathing suit or a towel for 800ISK.
Opening Times
The opening times of the Vök Baths vary from winter to summer:
- 1st September to 15th October: From 12 pm to 10 pm
- 16th October to 31st May: Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 10 pm; Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 10 pm
Final admission to the hot springs is 45 minutes before closing time.
