At the entrance, you have the option to rent an audio guide that shares key insights about the various rooms you will visit. This journey reveals a rich collection of artifacts, including the world’s largest neoclassical silverware collection, intriguing history enthusiasts!
A highlight within the palace is the Haydn Hall, dedicated to the composer Joseph Haydn, who dedicated nearly four decades to the Esterházy family. The Esterházy Palace operates under the following schedule:
- November to March: Open Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10 am to 5 pm
- April and May: Open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm
- June, July, and August: Open daily from 10 am to 5 pm
- September to October: Open from Tuesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm
Visiting Hours 2026
- January to March and November to December: Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 10 am to 4 pm
- April and October: Open Wednesday to Sunday, and public holidays from 10 am to 4 pm
- May to September: Open daily from 10 am to 4 pm
- December 24, 25, and 26: Closed
