Details of the Activity

We will convene at your selected time on calle Baltasar Tercero. From there, our journey will commence as we venture into the northern regions of Doñana National Park, specifically to spots that are typically off-limits.

As we embark on our tour, you'll encounter diverse ecosystems that thrive within the park's boundaries. Highlights of our visit include the enchanting Coto del Rey pine forests, the unique Matasgordas cork oak forests, and the tranquil Hinojos marshes. Additionally, we’ll stop at the José Antonio Valverde Visitor Centre, where you can deepen your understanding of the fauna and flora in this ecosystem.

While navigating through Doñana, keep an eye out for the diverse birdlife that calls this area home, including herons, cormorants, seagulls, and avocets. The wetlands surrounding the Guadalquivir River form a vibrant ecosystem, nurturing these bird species and many others.

Moreover, you'll have the opportunity to observe local mammals such as deer, fallow deer, wild boar, and foxes, and hopefully catch a glimpse of the elusive Iberian lynx, a species facing extinction. We will discuss the vital conservation efforts currently underway to protect this magnificent feline.

After an engaging 4-hour expedition, we’ll return you to the original meeting point for your convenience.
