Suchitoto Adventure

We will start our excursion following your pickup from a designated location in San Salvador. Our first stop will be at a stunning national park renowned for its lakes and volcanoes. Here, you'll be able to gaze upon the impressive Santa Ana Volcano, also known as Llamatepec, which soars to about 7,812 feet above sea level, as we make our way to Suchitoto, affectionately dubbed "The City of the Flower Bird." After a scenic drive of approximately an hour, you will be greeted by the stunning 18th-century structures that have made this town a beloved spot among visitors.

As we wander through the picturesque cobblestone streets, it will feel as if you've stepped back into the colonial period. We will also explore one of the city’s key historical sites: the Church of Santa Lucia.

You will learn about the origins of Suchitoto, founded by the Pipil indigenous people, who established their settlement in this region during the 11th century. This rich cultural heritage is still vibrant today, showcased in the artisan shops and art galleries that beautify the village's streets.

Upon concluding our visit, we will return to your original meeting point in San Salvador.

If you opt for pickup from your hotel in San Salvador, a 10USD fee per person applies, payable in cash on the day of the tour. For pickups from accommodations in Tunco, the fee is 20USD per person.
