Begin your journey as we pick you up from your selected meeting point, setting off to explore one of El Salvador's most enchanting towns. Our destination is the captivating Suchitoto!
After an engaging 1.5-hour drive, we'll arrive at the charming center of Suchitoto. Here, a guided exploration awaits, where you can wander through the picturesque cobblestone pathways and enjoy sights of its vibrant, quaint houses. Our route will take us through Suchitoto Central Park, notable for its striking white facade of the Iglesia de Santa Lucía.
Next, we will visit Casa 1800, a delightful restaurant situated in the highlands of Suchitoto. You’ll have the opportunity to unwind, soak in the beautiful scenery from the lookouts, and appreciate views of the town alongside Lake Suchitlán, which is surrounded by verdant nature. Don't miss the chance to relish a traditional Salvadoran meal at Casa 1800—an experience worth savoring!
Following our time in Suchitoto, we'll regroup and proceed to San Salvador to delve into its historical heart. Here, marvel at the stunning exterior of the Metropolitan Cathedral of San Salvador, embellished with symbols honoring the Divine Savior of the World, the country's patron. We will also visit the National Palace, where you'll gain insights into the rich history of this compact yet impactful nation.
Our exploration continues as we venture to the Plaza Gerardo Barrios, Plaza Libertad, and Plaza Morazán, where we will uncover the stories behind the notable monuments found in these historic sites.
To conclude this enriching 7- to 11-hour experience, we will return to the original meeting point.
