Details of the 3-Day Adventure

Day 1: Departure from Fez to Merzouga

We will begin our adventure with a pickup at your hotel or riad in Fez, heading towards the mesmerizing Merzouga desert. Our route takes us through charming towns like Ifrane, often called "the Moroccan Switzerland," and the captivating landscapes surrounding Azrou, one of the region's most picturesque villages.

As we continue, we will traverse the scenic Ziz Gorges to reach the serene town of Erfoud. As the sun begins to set, enjoy a camel trek across the dunes of Merzouga. After a refreshing dinner beneath the stars, you will retire for the night in a comfortable Haima camp.

Day 2: Exploration of Todra Gorges and Dades Valley

Awaken to the breathtaking sight of the sunrise over Merzouga's dunes. Following breakfast, we will embark on a journey towards the stunning Todra Gorges, where the breathtaking natural scenery will surely captivate you!

Your day will conclude in the mesmerizing Dades Valley, where dinner awaits, followed by a restful overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 3: From Dades Valley to Marrakech via Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we will proceed to Ouarzazate to explore the impressive Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou.

Following a leisure break for lunch, we will travel through various Amazigh villages nestled at the foot of Morocco's Atlas Mountains, one of the country’s most significant mountain ranges. We expect to arrive in Marrakech by around 6 PM.

When booking your trip, you can choose between two categories of accommodation: standard (2 and 3 stars) or superior (4 stars).

Standard Accommodation:

• Dades Valley (second night): Babylon Hotel, Kasbah Tifawen, Auberge Panorama or similar accommodations.

Superior Accommodation:

• Merzouga Desert (first night): upper haima camp (view images below).

Room Configurations

In both hotel settings and desert camps, single rooms are not available; accommodations consist of doubles. Options for triple and family rooms can be arranged as needed.

The standard haimas can accommodate up to 4 individuals and include private bathroom facilities, while the superior haimas can host up to 5 individuals and also feature private bath options. It is important to note that the standard and superior camps are distinct, showcasing variations in meal offerings and interior design.

Additionally, air conditioning at luxury camps incurs an extra charge of 30EUR per haima. During peak periods, such as Easter or Christmas, standard camps may occasionally utilize shared bathrooms.
