Aletsch Arena serves as an exceptional retreat for those who cherish snow, making the Aletsch Explorer Pass an excellent option. Whether your goal is to embark on refreshing hikes through the mountains and forests, admire the scenic viewpoints, or visit the Great Aletsch Glacier, recognized as the longest in the Alps, this pass is your ideal companion.
This pass grants you unlimited access to cable cars throughout the Aletsch Arena for an entire day. For the best experience, we suggest beginning your day early to take full advantage of the various attractions.
The cable cars within Aletsch Arena link all peaks and hiking paths of the ski area.
Viewpoints of Aletsch
Your Aletsch Explorer Pass allows access to the following viewpoints:
- Eggishorn: soaring at 2,869 m (9,409 ft) above sea level, this viewpoint is reachable from Fiesch through Fiescheralp
- Bettmerhorn: positioned at 2,647 m (8,680 ft), providing magnificent views of the glacier from its panoramic restaurant
- Hohfluh: standing at 2,227 m (7,306 ft), offering views of the glacier's curves
- Moosfluh: located at an altitude of 2,333 m (7,661 ft), showcasing the Aletsch Glacier.
Included Cable Cars
- From Fiesch to Fiescheralp and Eggishorn
- From Bettmeralp station in Grengiols to Bettmeralp and Bettmerhorn
- From Mörel to Riederalp, including stops at the Hohfluh and Moosfluh viewpoints.
Usage Instructions
To begin your adventure with the Aletsch Explorer Pass, present your pass at any cable car station located in Mörel, Bettmeralp, or Fiesch.

Important information
The local team will send you a booking confirmation that allows you to access the cable cars directly without going through the ticket offices.

- Bettmeralp Valley Station (Bettmerhorn viewpoint): 3993 Grengiols
- Fiesch to Fiescheralp (Eggishorn viewpoint): Fieschertalstrasse 1, 3984 Fiesch.
Additional Info
- Check the cable car schedules on the Aletscharena website for the date of your visit and ensure the cable car is operational, as regular maintenance may occur
- The ticket cannot be refunded if you cannot use it due to maintenance
- The ticket is not valid for skiing or sledding.
