Grand Canyon Day Trip
Description
For those visiting Arizona, a trip to the Grand Canyon is a must-see experience. This expedition covers iconic viewpoints, the Navajo Nation, and the stunning Oak Creek Canyon.
Trip Overview
At the arranged time, we’ll collect you from your accommodation to embark on what is regarded as one of the top day trips across the United States: a venture to the Grand Canyon!
During our drive, you'll be treated to stunning vistas of the mountains in Arizona. If your journey begins in Sedona, we’ll make our way through the Oak Creek Canyon, celebrated for its breathtaking landscapes, often referred to as the Grand Canyon’s little sibling for good reason!
Approximately 2.5 hours into our trip, we’ll reach Grand Canyon National Park. Here, we’ll commence our exploration along various trails, enabling you to fully appreciate the remarkable beauty of this preserved area and view several lookout points spanning the South Rim and East Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Next, we’ll pause for lunch, during which you may select a restaurant within the park to dine independently. As we depart from the National Park, we’ll traverse the extensive Navajo Nation, gaining insight into their legacy and traditions. You’ll also witness the spectacular sights of the Little Colorado River canyon.
Additionally, we’ll make a stop at the renowned Cameron Trading Post, offering a variety of souvenirs and handcrafted Native American art. On the route back, enjoy sweeping views of the Painted Desert cliffs and the volcanic terrain in the vicinity of Flagstaff.
Ultimately, we’ll conclude our day trip between 9 to 11 hours later, returning to the original meeting point.
