Activity Overview

At the arranged time, we will gather at the launching site in the Chianti region, located just outside Florence. Are you prepared for an extraordinary journey?

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted warmly and will witness the preparation of the balloon. Observe as the vibrant fabric unfolds on the ground, with the powerful burners gently filling it with hot air. Gradually, the balloon will take shape and rise upright. Capture this enchanting moment with a photograph!

Following this, the pilot will conduct a brief safety briefing, outlining the important guidelines for the flight and landing. Soon after, you'll step into the basket, and the ascent will begin, gliding gracefully through the air as the balloon moves with the breezy currents.

During the one-hour flight, you will ascend to an altitude of approximately 640 meters (2,100 feet), offering spectacular vistas of the famed Tuscan scenery. From above, you'll gaze upon hills crowned with cypress trees, expansive vineyards, and olive orchards, along with serene country roads, rustic farmhouses, and enchanting medieval settlements.

As we continue, we will also catch sight of charming valleys and historic castles. Since hot air balloons navigate solely at the mercy of the wind, each ascent provides a distinct experience with continuously changing panoramas of Tuscany.

Once the flight concludes, we’ll touch down in a secure area where we will celebrate with a glass of champagne and savor a delightful breakfast that showcases traditional Tuscan delicacies surrounded by the beauty of the countryside.

After enjoying breakfast, we will return by vehicle to the starting point to conclude this three-hour adventure.
