Tikal Excursion (8 hours)

Your journey begins at 8 am with a hotel pickup, leading us to the expansive Tikal National Park, a sprawling haven covering over 57,600 hectares. Once on-site, a guided exploration of this remarkable Maya location awaits. We will traverse areas such as the Maler Causeway, gaining insight into the ceiba tree's significance in Guatemala and its connections to local indigenous groups.

During our exploration, we will encounter two sets of notable twin pyramids dating back to the 8th century: Complex Q and Complex R. Not to be missed is the impressive Temple IV, towering at 230 feet (70 meters) as the tallest stone structure in the Americas, which has also featured in the film Star Wars. Further along, we'll visit the Plaza of the Seven Temples, where a unique triple ballcourt stands.

After this enriching visit, enjoy an hour of leisure time to savor some local delicacies.

Tikal Sunrise Excursion (9 hours)

Your adventure starts early with a 3 am pickup from your hotel as we journey to Tikal. Witness a breathtaking sunrise over the ancient ruins of this Maya city. Once there, we will make our way to Temple IV, the prime viewing point to appreciate the dawn and immerse ourselves in the surrounding natural sounds.

Following the sunrise, we will embark on a guided tour of Tikal’s archaeological site. Highlights will include notable landmarks such as the Plaza of the Seven Temples, the Central Acropolis, the Great Plaza, and Complexes Q and R. Enjoy three hours of exploration before we return to your hotel in Flores.

Tikal Sunset Excursion (7 hours)

After a hotel pickup, we will head towards Tikal. Our afternoon arrival offers a fantastic opportunity to observe local wildlife, as many bird species and animals are most active at this time of day.

Our visit includes key monuments in the ancient city, with stops at locations like Plaza Mayor, Temple I, Temple II, and both the Northern and Central Acropolis. Here, we will climb a 70-meter (229-foot) pyramid that provides unparalleled views of the area. Next, we’ll descend to Temple IV and continue into the Lost World's High and Low Plaza, some of the oldest sections of Tikal.

We will then ascend another pyramid of 32 meters (104 feet) for a stunning 360-degree perspective of the region, all while taking in the beauty of a captivating sunset. After 7 hours, we will make our way back to Flores.

Yaxhá Excursion (9 hours)

Your day begins at 8 am with a pickup at your hotel, followed by a drive to the archaeological site of Yaxhá. Upon arrival, we will take a boat to Topoxté Island, a pre-Columbian site recognized as the political capital of the Ko'woj Maya.

After this visit, we will return to Yaxhá to explore the ruins of this ancient ceremonial center, characterized by palatial structures, ball courts, pyramids, and an acropolis. This segment of the tour will last approximately three hours before we head back to Flores.

Yaxhá Sunset Excursion (8 hours)

We'll pick you up from your Flores hotel to marvel at a Yaxhá sunset. Enjoy a picturesque one-hour drive to our destination, where a delightful lunch will be served prior to our tour.

After lunch, we'll delve into the surroundings, encountering various birds along with howler and spider monkeys inhabiting the treetops. Guided exploration will highlight the major astronomical complex, the quarry causeway, the Maya ballgame court, the southern acropolis, and more.

Our adventure concludes at the Temple of the Red Hands, where we can enjoy an awe-inspiring view of the picturesque lagoons, Yaxhá and Sacnab, as we bask in the glow of a cinematic sunset. Following this unforgettable experience, we will return to your accommodation in Flores.

Blue Crater Excursion (9 hours)

At 8 am, we depart from your hotel heading towards the celebrated Cráter Azul, or Blue Crater. First, we will arrive at Arroyo El Pucté, a stream where we will board a boat to explore this natural spa with crystalline waters. Here, indulge in swimming and relaxation in this idyllic paradise, along with visits to the Imox lagoon, Poza Azul, and other notable spots in the vicinity.
