Activity Overview

Are you ready to explore one of the most picturesque locations in Santa Catarina? Our adventure begins at the meeting point at the intersection of Rua Conselheiro Cláudio de Vincenzi and Canasvieiras beach.

Prior to departure, a safety briefing will be conducted to ensure your comfort. There's no need to worry if you're a first-timer—this activity is designed for beginners and participants of all ages!

Once we're all set, we will embark on a paddling journey along the northern coastline of Florianópolis, with approximately 25 minutes of paddling required to reach Ilha do Francês. Curious about its name? We will discover the story behind it as we discover this unspoiled gem. Being a protected natural area, the island features no facilities such as cafés or restaurants, promising a true digital detox experience.

Assuming the weather conditions are favorable, we will spend an additional 25 minutes circling the island to appreciate its vibrant flora and the mesmerizing waters that transition between turquoise and emerald tones.

Participants will then enjoy 2 hours of leisure time on the island, allowing for a personal pace to embrace the surroundings: utilize the snorkeling equipment to discover the intricate coral reefs, swim in the pristine water, relax on the sandy shores, or enjoy your own snacks. You won’t be paddling continuously, offering ample opportunity to unwind.

After relishing this slice of paradise in Santa Catarina, we will paddle back to our original meeting point in Florianópolis, concluding this 4-hour journey.
