Each October, immerse yourself in German traditions, savor authentic cuisine, enjoy Bavarian folk music, and experience the vibrant atmosphere of this iconic festival. This is an event not to be overlooked!

Oktoberfest in Blumenau

Embark on a journey to embrace the German essence within Brazil. Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Florianópolis at the designated time, followed by a scenic two-hour drive to Blumenau.

Upon arrival, we will start with a guided tour of Blumenau. For half an hour, we will wander through the historic downtown area, featuring a variety of charming buildings reflecting traditional German architecture.

Depending on the day of your visit, the itinerary will adjust as follows:

• Wednesdays (3 pm departure and 1 am return): Enjoy the afternoon and evening participating in the festivities at Vila Germânica Park. Notably, catch the traditional Oktoberfest parade at 7 pm (scheduled for October 7, 14, and 21), one of the highlights of your day.
• Saturdays (8 am departure and 6 pm return): Experience a morning excursion that includes watching the festive parade at 4 pm (October 10, 17, and 24) and a chance to explore the pavilions in Vila Germânica before heading back.
• Sundays (7 am departure and 7 pm return): Participate in a morning-focused tour emphasizing cultural displays, with visits to the pavilions at Vila Germânica for insights into the festival's impressive layout. Please note, there is no parade on Sundays, and we conclude the tour before the evening events commence.

After our explorations in Blumenau, we'll set off back to your accommodations in Florianópolis.
