Day Trip Overview

At the designated time, you will be collected from your hotel in Fortaleza and transported southeast towards the iconic dunes of Canoa Quebrada Beach. Prepare to be captivated by the spectacular ochre cliffs that await your exploration!

After a journey of roughly 2 hours and 20 minutes, we will arrive at our destination. Here, you’ll have 2.5 hours at your leisure to unwind on the sandy shores, wander along the Atlantic coastline, and savor the flavors of the local cuisine. This region is famous for its striking reddish falésias, cliffs that have been sculpted over millennia through natural erosion.

Following this relaxation period, we will board buggies that accommodate 4 passengers each for an exciting 1.5-hour adventure. Our first stop will be the lively Broadway Avenue, a vibrant tourist hub bustling with shops and a festive atmosphere.

Next, we will visit the area’s most iconic landmark: the Half Moon and Star etched into the cliffs. This symbol has a rich history dating back to the 1960s, eventually becoming the emblematic representation of Canoa Quebrada. Prepare your camera for a memorable photo opportunity!

Continuing our journey along the coast, we will reach Refúgio Dourado, an outdoor cultural venue showcasing impressive rock sculptures standing up to 5 m (16.4 ft) tall. Here, you will enjoy 30 minutes of leisure to relax and enjoy a refreshing drink.

Our adventure will then take us to the Falésias Brancas, notable for their light-colored layers of compacted sand and minerals. After marveling at these spectacular formations, we will ascend the dunes to the breathtaking Duna do Pôr do Sol, an ideal natural viewpoint perfect for capturing stunning photographs.

To conclude the buggy tour, we will return to the original point of departure and commence our journey back to Fortaleza. We will part ways by dropping you off at your hotel at the end of this engaging 9-hour experience.
