Our initial destination will be the Ponte dos Ingleses, situated in Praia de Iracema, a scenic viewpoint showcasing the striking hues of the Atlantic. As we gaze at this pier, we'll reflect on its history intended as a port docking area that never fulfilled its role due to the relentless power of the waves.

From there, we’ll proceed to Passeio Público, better known as Praça dos Mártires, recognized as the oldest plaza in Fortaleza. Its ancient trees whisper tales from colonial eras and of distinguished individuals who once relished its shade and companionship.

Next, our journey leads us to the Metropolitan Cathedral, an exquisite neo-Gothic temple with towers that stretch gracefully skyward. We’ll take a moment to appreciate its stained-glass windows, casting intricate patterns of light. Be sure to capture its beauty on camera!

One of the day's memorable moments awaits at the Central Market of Fortaleza. Get ready to explore one of the city’s truest reflections! During our hour-long visit, we’ll immerse ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere created by over 500 stalls and shops. As we stroll, your senses will be delighted by the mix of handmade crafts and textiles, paired with the enticing aromas of roasted nuts amid the lively ambiance of Ceará.

After exiting the market, we will pass by the Ceará Tourism Center, a former prison that now serves as a cultural hub. While taking in its exterior, we’ll discuss how the renovated cells have been transformed into small museums.

Then, we’ll spend approximately 20 minutes at the José de Alencar Theatre, admiring its Art Nouveau design that harmonizes with the contemporary spirit of Fortaleza.

When lunch time arrives, we’ll pause at a local restaurant within the city center, allowing you to enjoy a meal at your leisure. Following this one-hour interlude, we will venture to Avenida Beira Mar to visit the Fish Market.
