History and nature come together on this scenic tour of Fortaleza, where you'll discover the main tourist spots in the city and Praia de Cumbuco, one of the most famous beaches in Ceará.

Activity Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel and start this scenic tour of Fortaleza. We'll admire some of the iconic spots of the capital of the state of Ceará.

First, we'll explore the city center until we reach its urban beach, Praia de Iracema. Along the beach, you can admire some historic buildings like the old Estoril restaurant, which served as a casino for American troops during World War II.

Next, we'll cross the Ponte dos Ingleses, an iconic metallic and concrete structure that juts out into the sea at the end of Praia de Iracema. We'll continue our tour passing by the former public jail, now transformed into Emcetur, the Tourism Center of Ceará. This building dates back to the 1850s and has operated as a prison for over a century. Today, it houses a large craft market.

After our tour of Fortaleza, we'll take you to the famous Praia de Cumbuco, known for its golden dunes. Here, you'll have around 4 hours of free time to eat at one of the beach restaurants, take a refreshing dip, or simply relax by the sand.

Afterward, we'll regroup to start our journey back to the starting point, where we'll conclude the tour after a total of 8 hours.
