Embark on an exciting day trip to Paraguay, where we'll venture across the border from Brazil to explore the magnificent Itaipu Dam and the breathtaking Saltos del Monday waterfalls.

Your adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu at the scheduled time. We will then cross the Paraná River, entering the vibrant region of Paraguay.

Our initial destination will be Ciudad del Este, where a visit to the Tierra Guaraní Museum awaits. Here, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the indigenous culture and explore how the area has evolved since the arrival of settlers.

Next, we will proceed to Hernandarias to tour the magnificent Itaipu Dam, renowned as one of the largest hydroelectric power plants globally, situated right at the border of Brazil and Paraguay.

Continuing our journey, we will discover the stunning Saltos del Monday waterfalls, the most famous falls in Paraguay, cascading from a height of 40 meters (131 feet). We will pause at key viewpoints, allowing you to soak in the scenery and capture memorable photos of this natural wonder.

Before returning to Brazil, we'll make a quick stop at the Mercado de Abastos market in Ciudad del Este, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink or snack to recharge.

We expect to bring you back to your hotel approximately 7.5 hours after your pickup.
