Puerto Iguazú Day Trip
Description
Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Argentina through its exquisite wine, cuisine, and natural beauty during our excursion to Puerto Iguazú from Foz do Iguaçu. This enriching journey promises to be a memorable experience.
Day Trip Overview
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Foz do Iguaçu, as we embark on our trip to Puerto Iguazú. Midway, we'll pause at the Three Borders Landmark, where the borders of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay converge. From this remarkable viewpoint, we’ll take in the stunning vistas of the Iguazú and Paraná rivers.
Continuing our journey, we’ll explore the La Aripuca environmental reserve. This site features a striking 56-foot (17-meter) high structure that mimics a traditional Guarani trap. Here, you will learn about the reserve’s ecological significance and its construction. You’ll also enjoy time to wander through various artisan shops and sample local dishes.
Next, we’ll visit the Feirinha Puerto Iguazú market, a vibrant spot to gain insights into the local customs and lifestyle. You’ll have the chance to savor authentic flavors from traditional stalls offering tantalizing empanadas, local cheeses, or grilled meats.
After gathering back together, we’ll proceed to the Ice Bar Iguazú, where you can enjoy half an hour of open bar featuring delicious drinks. Finally, we’ll return to Foz do Iguaçu, wrapping up this 5-hour adventure with a drop-off back at your hotel.
