Fribourg City Card
With the Fribourg City Card, you'll unlock the full potential of this stunning city in western Switzerland, gaining free entry to 14 different museums and highlights of local culture. Among the featured attractions that should not be missed are:
- Art and History Museum.
- Tourist train service (available from April 1 to October 31).
- Natural History Museum of Fribourg.
- Fribourg Cathedral tower (accessible from March 1 to October 31).
- Swiss Puppet Museum.
- Motta Public Swimming Pool (open from May to September).
- Espace 1606: showcasing a model of the city as it was in the 17th century.
- Fri Art Kunsthalle Fribourg.
- Botanical Garden.

The Fribourg City Card grants you unrestricted access to the public transport network throughout the duration of its validity.

How does it work?
Pick up your Fribourg City Card at the Fribourg Tourist Office. The card will be activated upon first use in any museum, tourist attraction, or public transport. From that point, you can enjoy its benefits for 1 or 2 consecutive days, depending on your chosen option.
Fribourg Tourist Office operating hours are as follows:
- Monday to Friday: 9 am to 5:30 pm
- Saturdays between October 1 and March 30: 9 am to 1 pm
- Saturdays from May 1 to September 30: 9 am to 4 pm
- Sundays from October 1 to March 30: closed
- Sundays from May 1 to September 30: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
Children under 4 years old
Children below the age of 4 can access public transport in Fribourg free of charge without needing to obtain a tourist card. Furthermore, many museums also offer complimentary admission for children in this age group (please confirm beforehand).

Important information
To collect your City Card, you'll need to show this booking voucher at the Fribourg Tourist Office. The address is Place Jean Tinguely, 1.
Opening hours of the Freiburg Tourist Office:
- Monday to Friday: 9 am to 5:30 pm
- Saturdays from October 1 to March 30: 9 am to 1 pm
- Saturdays from May 1 to September 30: 9 am to 4 pm
- Sundays from October 1 to March 30: closed
- Sundays from May 1st to September 30th: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm
Important: from July 14th, the Tourist Office will close at 5:30 pm.
