Activity Details

At the specified time, we will gather at Dr. César Oliveira de Fuzeta Avenue to board the boat for a delightful cruise on the Ria Formosa. The adventure begins!

As we navigate the Ria Formosa Natural Park, take in the sights of quaint fishing villages and the diverse flora and fauna. This park is home to over 20,000 birds, and we will have the opportunity to spot some of the unique species that inhabit this area as we glide along the river.

Our route through the wetlands will guide us to the island of Armona, where you will have thirty minutes to explore at your leisure. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy the pristine golden beaches or sample the delicious local cuisine.

After the free time, we will regroup at the boat and continue our sail along the estuary. During this segment, you will learn about the significance of shellfishing in the region as we pass by several oyster farms.

This boat tour of the Ría Formosa islands will conclude back at our initial meeting point after approximately 2 hours.
