As you explore the ethnographic park, delve into the pyramids' origins by visiting the Casa Chacona Museum. You’ll also have the opportunity to enter the expedition room and a compact auditorium where a documentary reveals the extensive research conducted by Thor Heyerdahl, the park's founder.
In addition to its archaeological significance, the Pyramids of Güímar encompass a botanical garden. In the Sustainable Garden, you can admire a simulated Canarian ravine showcasing its indigenous flora. Meanwhile, the Poisonous Garden presents over 70 species of toxic plants sourced from various regions across the globe.

Opening Hours
The museum and facilities of the Pyramids of Güímar are operational daily from 10 am to 6 pm.
English guided tours occur on Mondays at 12 pm and Wednesdays at 11:30 am.

Important information
Your ticket allows you access to the archaeological park and museum of the Pyramids of Guimar on any day of the week between 10 am and 6 pm. Just present the reservation voucher in the ticket offices, located on Calle Chacona in Guimar, Tenerife.
Canarian residents
If you have selected the "Canarian resident" ticket, you must show your national identity card proving your residency to access the site.
Information on the conservation of the Pyramids of Güímar
According to the sustainability policy that is implemented in the gardens of the park, the main idea is permaculture, that is to say, the responsible use of the land. In this sense, at some point it could be observed that some areas seem dry, but, in fact, they are not dry, but are in a process of dormancy. This is a strategy of many plant species that allows them to survive when climatic conditions are not appropriate for growth, such as during the dry season. Plant residues on the ground, such as fallen leaves, can also be found at times because they serve as a natural fertilizer for the soil.
