At a time you prefer, we will gather at Piazzetta Orsini to commence our private exploration of Galatina, a hidden gem in Apulia.
The adventure begins with a visit to one of Galatina's most iconic landmarks, the Basilica of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria. As we appreciate the façade that beautifully fuses Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles, we will discuss how its establishment in the 14th century heralded a period of great prosperity for the city.
We will also venture inside the church to marvel at its stunning frescoes. Following this, a stroll through the historic center of Galatina will allow us to view the Church of San Pietro e Paolo, the Clock Tower, the Palazzo Orsini, and the ancient gates of the defensive walls—a feast for your camera!
After two hours of cultural immersion, we will close our tour at a central location of your choice.
