Overview of the Day Trip

Your adventure begins with a pickup at the designated Place Dorcière Bus Station. From here, we’ll journey into the stunning French Alps. Are you ready for a remarkable day on the slopes?

Following a drive of approximately 1.5 hours, we will arrive in the beloved Alpine village of Chamonix Mont-Blanc, a premier destination for winter sports enthusiasts. The excitement to hit the slopes is palpable!

Upon arrival, we will stop at the Chamonix Sud bus station, where you’ll receive your Ski Pass. This pass encompasses a shuttle that will whisk you away to either the Brévent-Flégère or Les Grands Montets ski resort, contingent on availability and weather conditions.

Your pass grants you access to all ski runs and lifts at the chosen resort, along with the necessary ski equipment, including skis, poles, boots, and a helmet.

Equipped and ready, you will have 8 hours of leisure to explore the ski resort. Glide gracefully down the slopes, take in the breathtaking Alpine views, and enjoy a pause to sample the delightful local dishes.

At the designated time, we will reconvene at the Chamonix Sud bus station to embark on our return trip to Geneva, concluding this exhilarating 10-hour experience.

Brévent-Flégère Ski Resort

This resort, facing the Mont Blanc massif, boasts a peak altitude of 2,525 m (8,284 ft) and a base of 1,030 m (3,379 ft), offering a vertical drop of 1,495 m (4,904 ft). It features a total of 56 km (34 mi) of skiable terrain, comprising 28 slopes: 14 blue (11 km / 6.8 mi), 7 red (25 km / 15.5 mi), and 7 black (20 km / 12.4 mi).

If you're looking to unwind with a drink, consider the La Bergerie de Planpraz or the Maison des Drus, both of which serve a variety of mountain cuisine accompanied by spectacular Alpine vistas.

Moreover, additional dining options like the Chalet de la Floria and the Crèmerie du Moulin are also available near the resort.

Les Grands Montets Ski Resort

Nestled at the base of Mont Blanc, this renowned ski resort boasts a maximum altitude of 3,300 m (10,826 ft) and a minimum of 1,235 m (4,051 ft), providing a vertical drop of 2,065 m (6,774 ft). With 28 km(17.3 mi) of slopes, it offers 27 runs: 13 blue (6 km / 3.7 mi), 7 red (8 km / 4.9 mi), and 7 black (14 km / 8.6 mi).

When hunger strikes, you can choose the L'argentero restaurant, specializing in mountain meats, or opt for the Aux Dix Vins restaurant, known for its traditional Haute-Savoie cuisine.
