This three-day program is designed for those wishing to master the art of scuba diving in open water. The theoretical component will take place at the diving center located at the Pesona Beach Resort & Spa on Gili Trawangan. Are you aware of why this island ranks as one of Southeast Asia's premier diving destinations? Get ready to discover!

During the course's three days, we will adhere to the standards set by the PADI Open Water training, culminating in an official certification upon completion. The first day will feature five instructional videos that prepare you for the underwater scenarios you may encounter. Additionally, we will conduct initial training in a pool with all necessary equipment at the center.

Once the instructors determine that the group has achieved an adequate level of proficiency, we will progress to the next two days, during which you will experience a total of four dives in the open waters surrounding Gili Trawangan. One day will consist of two dives to a maximum depth of 12 meters, while the following day will involve two additional dives of up to 18 meters. Expect to encounter a vibrant array of marine life, such as octopuses, cuttlefish, and clownfish—awaiting your exploration in the Gili archipelago!

Who can participate in this activity?

• Prior to diving, participants must complete a form confirming their physical fitness.
• To enroll in this three-day PADI Open Water Course, candidates must complete two assessments in the diving center’s pool. The first assessment is to float without assistance for 10 minutes, and the second requires either a 200-meter swim without assistance or a 300-meter swim using a mask and snorkel.

Taxes not included

Please note that the activity does not cover local taxes. A fee of 100,000 Indonesian rupiah per person (approximately 8 USD) is required in cash on the first day of the course.
