It is often said that Cadaqués stands out as one of the most picturesque towns along the Costa Brava. Experience this for yourself on a guided day journey from Girona that also includes a visit to the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes and the stunning Cap de Creus.

Cadaqués & Cap de Creus Day Adventure

The adventure begins at 8:30 am in the Plaça de Sant Feliu in Girona. From this central meeting point, we will journey toward the Monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes, nestled in the scenic mountains of La Albera.

Prepare to uncover this historic treasure of Catalan Romanesque architecture as we stroll through its church, bell tower, cloister, sacristies, and the Abbot's palace. Our English-speaking guide will provide insights into the monastery’s rich history and architectural details. You’ll surely be captivated by the stunning vistas encompassing Sant Pere de Rodes and its unmatched panoramas of the Gulf of Roses and Cap de Creus Natural Park.

At approximately 11 am, we will immerse ourselves in the stunning natural beauty of Cap de Creus, which marks the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. We will visit Portlligat, where breathtaking views over the Costa Brava await. Cap de Creus is a significant protected area of natural interest, home to charming coastal towns like Port de la Selva, Roses, and Cadaqués.

Enjoy a refreshing half-hour walk through the park before we continue on to Cadaqués. Upon our arrival in this enchanting whitewashed town, you will have an hour and a half to relax with lunch at a local restaurant (meal not included). After your meal, we will reconvene to embark on a guided exploration of the historic center of Cadaqués, celebrated for its remarkable beauty as a fishing village.

Our return journey to Girona will commence at 6 pm.
