As we board our transport, we will make our way to the town's center, where a leisurely stroll along the shores of Nicaragua Lake awaits. We will also take a moment to appreciate the stunning Town Cemetery, a true gem of national history.
Next, our journey will lead us to the Polvora Fort, immersing us in a significant chapter of Nicaragua's past filled with memorable battles and historic events. You’ll have the unique opportunity to touch the very stones of the walls built in 1748. Interestingly, this fort once served as the shelter for military personnel and inmates.
The adventure continues with a visit to the Maria Auxiliadora Church, renowned for its intricate design and vibrant stained glass windows.
