We will gather at the designated time in the lively center of Guadalajara and embark on an enlightening walking tour of this vibrant Mexican destination.

Our journey begins at the key downtown squares: Guadalajara, Armas, and Fundadores. Here, we will highlight significant historical moments, including the contributions of Miguel Hidalgo and the movement towards abolition.

As we circle the Rotunda of the Illustrious Jaliscienses, we will delve into the stories of notable figures like Jacobo Gálvez, Clemente Aguirre, María Izquierdo, and Rita Pérez. The tour will proceed to the Municipal Presidency and the Municipal Palace, where we will admire the impressive murals created by José Clemente Orozco.

Our exploration will then take us into the Guadalajara Cathedral. Here, we’ll uncover its beautiful architecture and visit the crypt. Other highlights will include the renowned Degollado Theatre, Tepatía Square, the city's coat of arms statue, the fountain of the Niños Miones, and various delightful surprises along the way.

Subsequently, we will visit the San Juan de Dios Market, which is the largest market hall in Latin America. This is your chance to purchase local products or souvenirs from your visit. As we exit, we will pass by the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Hospicio Cabañas.
