Tour Overview

At the designated time, we will meet you at your hotel in Guadalajara to embark on an exceptional journey amidst agave plants, stills, and rich flavors. Are you prepared to uncover the heart of Jalisco? Let’s begin!

After approximately one hour of travel, our first destination will be Tequila Selecto, a distillery where tradition meets innovation throughout its production stages. During this one-hour tour, you will explore the ovens, tahonas, and stills, gaining insight into both artisanal and modern techniques. The experience will culminate in a delightful tasting session of various tequilas, liqueurs, and creams that are sure to impress!

Subsequently, we will proceed to El Cascahuín distillery, a family-run establishment that honors traditional practices. Over the course of three hours, you will be guided through the entire production process, from agave cooking to distillation using copper equipment. Additionally, you will have the chance to partake in a tasting of either 3 or 5 tequilas, based on your choice.

Following this, you will enjoy two hours of leisure time to wander the picturesque town of Tequila. Feel free to explore its charming arches, capture moments in the main plaza, browse local artisan shops, and savor traditional dishes.

Next, we'll visit the well-known Cantaritos El Güero, where you can spend 2 hours savoring cocktails in a lively and authentic setting.

As the day winds down, we will return to Guadalajara, concluding our adventure with a drop-off at your hotel after approximately 10 hours.

Tasting Options

Upon making your reservation, you can select one of the following tasting options at El Cascahuín distillery:

• Tour + Tasting of 3 tequilas: enjoy a tasting experience featuring Tequila Blanco, Reposado, and Añejo
• Tour + Tasting of 5 tequilas: in addition to the three mentioned tequilas, this option includes Tahona and 48º Extra Añejo
