Tour Overview

At the designated time, our team will meet you at your hotel in Guadalajara to set off towards the Tequila Selecto distillery. Prepare yourself for an immersive journey filled with rich history, cultural heritage, and exquisite flavors!

Following a scenic 30-minute drive, we will arrive at our first stop, where you will participate in a 1-hour guided tour featuring the harmonious blend of age-old customs and modern artistry. Stroll through the agave fields, visit the intriguing masonry ovens, and witness the copper stills that bring the distillation process to life. The tour will culminate with a sampling of their tequilas, liqueurs, and delightful homemade creams.

Next, we will visit the Tequila Castle, a family-owned distillery renowned for its striking architecture and its rich history rooted in Jalisco. Here, you'll explore its underground cellars and learn about each stage of the tequila-making process, from the cooking of the agave to the crucial distillation phase. Our visit will conclude with a tasting of three tequilas that showcase the unique attributes of this establishment. Cheers!

After the tour, you'll have the opportunity to unwind at El Castillo Bar, enjoying a traditional cantarito. This refreshing beverage, served in an earthenware glass, combines tequila, citrus flavors, and soda with a sprinkle of salt, providing a perfect moment of refreshment.

With 2.5 hours spent exploring the Tequila Castle, we will then proceed to the Magical Town of Tequila, where you’ll have 2 hours of leisure time to wander through its vibrant streets, capture beautiful photos, shop for local handicrafts, and enjoy lunch at your leisure.
