Join us on an enlightening journey through Guadalajara, where the rich history of one of Mexico's oldest cities unfolds along with a visit to the charming colonial town of Tlaquepaque.

Guadalajara & Tlaquepaque Exploration

At the scheduled time, we will meet you at your hotel to commence a panoramic exploration of Guadalajara, taking in some of the most renowned landmarks of the Jalisco capital.

Our first stop will be the La Minerva roundabout, notable for its sculpture dedicated to the Roman goddess Minerva, which has become an iconic representation of the city. Close by, we will also view the Arcos de Guadalajara, which served as the historical gateways into the capital.

Proceeding on, we'll make our way to Avenida de Chapultepec, Guadalajara's principal thoroughfare. Along this road, you can observe the remnants of an ancient aqueduct before arriving at Calle Libertad, known for its traditional 19th-century architecture that defines much of the city’s character.

Next, we'll explore the Expiatory Temple of the Blessed Sacrament, a prime example of Gothic architecture in Mexico. We will then stroll through the historic center, where you can admire the Metropolitan Cathedral, Santos Degollado Theater, Cabañas Cultural Institute, and Plaza Liberación.

Following our time in Guadalajara, we will head to the lovely town of Tlaquepaque. Here, you’ll have 1.5 hours of free time to enjoy lunch and soak in the beautiful cobblestone streets and colonial buildings. You may choose to explore the 17th-century Church of San Pedro or browse through various handicraft shops.

Before concluding our tour, we will make a stop at a traditional sweets store to savor local treats, ensuring a delightful experience. Finally, we will return you to your hotel in Guadalajara, approximately 7-8 hours after our departure.
