Tour Overview

At the appointed time, we will gather at the Portobelo Mall in Guatapé. From this location, a short tuk-tuk ride of around 20 minutes will take us to the coffee farm nestled in the Vereda Bonilla area.

Upon arrival at the farm, a welcoming local farmer will guide us through the process of cultivating the coffee beans. You'll witness how carefully selected seeds are planted, with daily monitoring of the germination process through precise irrigation techniques.

The adventure continues with the harvesting of the coffee beans, which initially showcase a vibrant reddish hue. These harvested beans are carefully bagged and transported to the processing facility, where we will observe how they are ground before moving on to the drying area.

Throughout the tour, we will learn fascinating details about Colombian coffee, a leading export in South America. You might be surprised to discover the staggering number of tonnes that are shipped abroad each year!

We will conclude our visit at the farm by savoring some exquisite local coffee. Take a moment to appreciate the rich aromas, vibrant colors, and distinct flavors that contribute to its exceptional quality.
