Tour Highlights

At the designated time, we will gather at Marina Navegar to commence our 1 or 2-day journey across the Guatapé reservoir. Let the exploration commence!

We will kick off with a charming boat excursion around the reservoir, which spans an impressive 6365 hectares (15,728 acres) and stands as one of Antioquia's most beautiful landscapes.

Next, we will visit the town center to savor a traditional Colombian breakfast that will energize you for the day ahead. Following this, a tuk-tuk ride will guide you through iconic spots in this delightful town.

Your adventure will then lead us to the famous Piedra del Peñol, an awe-inspiring landmark in the area. Here, you can choose to climb over 700 steps to reach the top of this magnificent 220-meter-high (721-foot) monolith.

Once we've soaked in the views, we will board another boat to arrive at the Volare Hotel, where a tasty lunch awaits. Following your meal, enjoy 30 minutes of paddle surfing or kayaking on the private lake, where you can glimpse La Manuela farm, formerly owned by Pablo Escobar.

As our adventure wraps up, we will return to our original meeting point and conclude our exploration after 6 hours.

2-Day Trip

For those seeking a deeper experience, consider choosing the 2-day tour. The first day includes the same itinerary as the one-day trip, culminating with an all-inclusive overnight stay and breakfast at the Volare Hotel (3 stars).

The following day features a post-breakfast hike to the Piedra del Marial, which provides one of the finest panoramic views of the Guatapé reservoir. Afterwards, relax at the lodge's heated swimming pool and take advantage of another chance to engage in paddle surfing or kayaking. We will part ways around 5 pm back at the original meeting spot, marking the end of your memorable adventure.
