Guatapé River Hiking + Abseiling Adventure

We will convene at the Portobelo Mall in Guatapé at the designated time. Following this, we’ll make our way to the tranquil banks of the Guatapé River, a stunning natural setting that offers a variety of activities.

The adventure begins with a brief hike through the lush jungle of the Antioquia region in Colombia. The area is teeming with verdant flora, and the breathtaking views are sure to leave you astonished—truly a sight to behold!

As the hike progresses, we’ll arrive at the breathtaking first waterfall, which boasts a height of 50 meters (164 feet). Here, we will gear up with helmets, harnesses, and all essential equipment needed for our abseiling experience down the rocky cliffs. After successfully navigating this initial descent, we will advance a short distance to encounter the impressive 45-meter-high (147-foot) waterfall.

This adrenaline-inducing experience will unfold in a spectacular location, surrounded by nature, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Afterward, you'll have some leisure time to unwind, relax, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural pools.

The activity will conclude with a journey back to the starting point, where we’ll return approximately four hours after our pickup.
