Join us at 10 am at the intersection of Avenida 23 and Calle 12. Together, we will embark on a journey through the renowned Necrópolis de Cristóbal Colón. Are you set to uncover its hidden gems?
During our exploration, you will witness remarkable examples of funerary design, including the stunning Central Chapel with its Romanesque-Byzantine style, inspired by Il Duomo in Florence. We will halt in front of the grave of Máximo Gómez Báez to uncover the mystery behind its lack of a name and dates! Furthermore, we will be astounded by the grave of Calixto Garcia and learn why he was honored with three distinct burial ceremonies!
This cemetery, recognized as the third most beautiful in the world by UNESCO, is home to other breathtaking memorials, including the Firemen’s Monument and the resting places of numerous notable individuals.
Your journey will conclude at 12:30 pm, as we exit the Cemetery.

Important information
We'll meet at the indicated time on the corner of Avenida 23 and Calle 12, in Havana. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
The guide, who will be wearing a cap and a polo shirt with the Free Tour Havana logo, will be waiting for you at the corner of La Pelota cafeteria.
Please do not enter the cemetery on your own.
