Havana Complete Tour
Description
During this in-depth exploration of Havana, we will navigate the vibrant streets of the Cuban capital, uncovering the intricate processes behind two of the nation’s iconic exports: rum and tobacco.
Complete Exploration of Havana
Our journey begins at 8 am when we will collect you from your accommodation in Havana to embark on a comprehensive tour of this captivating city.
Our initial stop will be in Vedado, a renowned district within the capital. Here, we will observe the prestigious University of Havana and take a stroll along Hamel's Alley, a colorful spot showcasing the artistry of sculptor and muralist Salvador Gonzalez, which poignantly reflects the African heritage of Cuba's populace.
We will delve deeper into the city’s history at the Plaza de la Revolución, famously known for hosting numerous addresses by Fidel Castro. Following this, we will explore the expansive Gran Parque Metropolitano de la Habana, a lush 700-acre oasis that serves as the green heart of the city.
Our next destination is the Partagás factory, where you will gain insights into the tobacco production technique. After our educational stop, we will treat you to a delightful Cuban meal at a local traditional restaurant.
Post-lunch, we will venture into Old Havana to admire the stunning Capitolio and the iconic Bacardi building. An interesting fact: this popular rum brand has its origins right here in Cuba!
To conclude our exploration of Havana, we will return you to your hotel.
