Day 1: Arrival in Ciudad Obregón

Upon your arrival at Ciudad Obregón International Airport, we will greet you and transport you to the historic center for a comprehensive two-hour exploration of the city. This tour includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas and a moment at the Alvaro Obregón statue, where you’ll delve into the history of this influential figure and his role in the Mexican Revolution.

After your city tour, we’ll check in to your hotel, allowing you some leisure time for dinner and relaxation ahead of the exciting activities planned for the following day.

Day 2: Ciudad Obregón - Cócorit - Navojoa

On the second day, start with a hearty American breakfast at the hotel before we head to the colonial town of Cócorit, established by Jesuits in 1617. Enjoy wandering through its charming narrow streets and admiring the vibrant façades.

Our next stop will be the Yo'o Juara butterfly sanctuary, where you’ll learn about the Cuatro Espejos butterfly and the significant cultural initiatives aimed at preserving the traditions of the Yaqui Indigenous Peoples. After this enriching experience, we'll savor a traditional meal at Los Chanates restaurant.

We will then proceed to Navojoa for a brief tour of the historical district, culminating at the Parish Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Following this stroll, you’ll have the evening to unwind and enjoy dinner at your leisure at the hotel.

Day 3: Navojoa - Álamos

After a continental breakfast at 8 am, we will depart for the Pueblo Mágico of Álamos, where a packed day of activities awaits. Prepare for an invigorating hike to Cerro El Tecolote, enjoy lunch in the town's main square, visit the Museo Costumbrista del Estado de Sonora (Sonora Custom Museum), and take a ride on the local tourist train.

Your exploration continues with a guided walk through the historic section of the city, where you will explore highlights such as the Plaza de Armas, the iconic Callejón del Beso ('Alley of the Kiss'), the Casa de la Moneda, and the stunning Basilica of the Immaculate Conception with its towering 32-meter spire. After a full day of discovery, you’ll have some time in the evening to relax and dine at your convenience before retiring to the hotel.

Day 4: Álamos - Departure to Ciudad Obregón

Rise early to enjoy breakfast, and once energized, we’ll visit the María Félix Museum. Here, immerse yourself in the life of one of the most celebrated actresses from the Golden Age of Mexican cinema, viewing memorabilia such as shoes, brushes, and jewelry.

Following the museum, we will venture into the Sierra de Álamos–Río Cuchujaqui Flora & Fauna Protection Area for a two-hour hike amidst ancient trees, where you might be fortunate enough to spot hummingbirds and eagles.

We will conclude our adventure with lunch in Navojoa before heading back to the Ciudad Obregón International Airport, aiming to arrive by 3 pm.
