Description

Hiroshima Castle and Itsukushima Shrine are among the remarkable monuments you will experience in this enlightening Hiroshima and Miyajima tour.

Description

Join us at Hiroshima Station, where we will begin our bus trip, marking the start of our deep dive into the rich history of Japan through the Hiroshima and Miyajima exploration.

As we journey along, observe the modern reconstruction of Hiroshima Castle, a poignant reminder of the original castle lost due to the atomic bomb on August 6, 1945.

We'll delve into its historical context as we approach the Hiroshima Peace Memorial, pausing for around thirty minutes to explore this significant site. Here, you will encounter an extensive memorial park with exhibitions and monuments created to honor those who suffered during this dark period of World War II. Among the notable structures is the iconic Genbaku Dome.

Next, we will savor a traditional meal in the vicinity, where you can enjoy okonomiyaki, a beloved Japanese dish that is sure to satisfy your palate.

After our meal, we'll head to Miyajimaguchi Pier to board a ferry to Miyajima Island. Upon arrival at this picturesque locale, we will have the chance to explore key sites such as the Itsukushima Shrine, the Great Torii Gate, the Goju-no-to Pagoda, and the Toyokuni Temple.

You will have an hour of free time to wander Omotesando Street, allowing you to discover more attractions on Miyajima at your own leisure. This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the charm of this unique Japanese location at a comfortable pace.

As we conclude our tour, we'll return to the pier to catch the ferry back. Once we arrive in Hiroshima, a bus will take us back to the main station, marking the end of our enlightening adventure through Hiroshima and Miyajima.
