Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho

Your experience commences with a pickup from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. We will then embark on a trip to My Tho, a quaint town nestled in the Mekong Delta.

Upon reaching My Tho, we'll visit the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda, a stunning temple established in the late 1800s. Following this, we will board a traditional sampan boat for an enchanting river trip around the magical Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise Islands.

Our first stop will be at Unicorn Island, where you'll have the opportunity to walk along village paths surrounded by lush orchards. Sample local tropical fruits, enjoy the dulcet tones of Vietnamese folk music performed by residents, and visit a fruit plantation.

Afterward, we will hop back onto the sampan, gliding through the scenic Thoi Son canal. Enjoy the picturesque countryside as we explore a family-operated bee-keeping farm and savor some honey tea. Participate in a coconut candy workshop before heading to a nearby eatery for a delightful lunch and a well-deserved respite.

In the afternoon, we’ll cycle through the charming Tan Thach village, allowing for authentic interactions with the local community. Alternatively, feel free to unwind in a hammock. Our day concludes with our arrival in Can Tho City, where we will spend the night.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City

The second day begins with a fulfilling breakfast at your hotel. Following this, we will embark on a boat ride to explore the tributaries of the Lower Mekong River, notably the Bassac River, leading us to the bustling Cai Rang Floating Market, a vibrant reflection of local life.

Next, we'll tour a noodle factory, where you'll gain insights into the intricate process of noodle production, a vital aspect of Vietnamese culinary culture. After this, we will continue by boat to a delightful fruit plantation, where you will have the opportunity to indulge in tasting seasonal fruits.

Your adventure continues with a visit to the Munir Ansay Pagoda, a remarkable Khmer temple renowned for its distinctive architecture and cultural significance.

After sharing another delightful lunch, we will depart from the Mekong Delta and return to Ho Chi Minh City, concluding this enriching tour.

Accommodation

This two-day journey includes one night’s lodging with breakfast in Can Tho, accommodating you in a double room featuring either twin beds or a double bed, within a 2 or 3-star hotel.

Hotel Pickup + Drop-Off

Pickup service is available from hotels situated in Central District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. When making your booking, please specify your hotel name. If your accommodation is outside the downtown area, you will need to reach the meeting point at 177 De Tham Street. At the conclusion of the journey, we will drop you off either at 177 De Tham Street or at the Ben Thanh Market.
