Our meeting point is set at the base of the La Lieutenance building, situated adjacent to the Samuel de Champlain statue, where we will commence this gastronomic tour of Honfleur.
Following a brief introduction, the adventure takes us to Place Sainte-Catherine, the heart of Honfleur's open-air market, which unfolds every Saturday morning.
As we traverse the market, you will have the opportunity to sample a variety of Normandy’s traditional delicacies. Highlights include locally crafted ciders and Calvados wines. Cheese enthusiasts will delight in tasting Camembert and Pont-l'Évêque, while andouille de Vire, a unique sausage, also makes an appearance.
Throughout the tasting experience, we will delve into the culinary traditions of Honfleur. Beyond the vibrant food culture, the stunning coastal views promise to captivate your senses!
To wrap up our tour, we will enjoy a leisurely stroll around the Vieux Port of Honfleur before concluding our two-hour experience on rue de la Ville.
