Sandboarding or Sand Skiing in the Ica Desert

Prepare for an exciting journey! At your selected time, we will meet at the Huacachina Oasis and board the buggies that will whisk us into the heart of the Ica Desert. We will traverse approximately 3 to 4 miles (5 to 7 kilometers) across the desert before reaching our destination for sandboarding or sand skiing.

Once we arrive, we will disembark and equip ourselves with all necessary gear for the activity. You will have the choice between trying sandboarding or sand skiing. Before we begin, we’ll review important safety guidelines that you will need to adhere to during our time in the desert.

Upon reaching the summit of the sand dunes, we will strap in our skis or position ourselves on our sandboards, ready to descend the sandy slopes of the Ica Desert.

After experiencing the thrill of sandboarding or sand skiing, we will return to the buggy. Following an adventurous 2-hour excursion, we'll conclude our experience and part ways at the starting point in Huacachina.
