Camino do Rei Hiking Experience

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel at the designated time, followed by a journey to the Camino do Rei trailhead. This scenic route stretches along the beautiful Rosa and Barra de Ibiraquera beaches.

Designed as a low-difficulty hiking path, this trail was historically traveled by King D. João VI during his visits to the Brazilian border with Spanish territories in the 19th century, during the colonial era of Portugal. Nowadays, the Camino do Rei serves as an exceptional vantage point for witnessing the area's natural splendor.

As we progress through the tour, we will reach Praia do Luz, a tranquil cove perfect for water sports. Here, you can observe local fishermen as they patiently await their catch of mullet, all while surrounded by lush greenery.

Continuing along the Camino do Rei, we’ll pause to take in the breathtaking views of Praia Rosa, celebrated as one of the most stunning bays globally. To conclude our expedition, we will make our way to Barra de Ibiraquera, where we’ll catch sight of Batuta Island, a natural habitat for an array of bird and reptile species.

Eventually, we will retrace our steps back to the starting point, culminating in a four-hour journey before returning you to your hotel.
