Itinerary of the Tramandaí River Islands Kayaking Adventure

We'll gather at the pre-established time at Marina Barranco, where an instructor will equip you with the necessary gear and explain vital safety protocols.

Once we are prepared, the journey will begin, covering a distance of 8 kilometers (5 miles) through the enchanting Imbé islands situated within the Tramandaí River. Paddle through the river's winding channels and estuarine paths, appreciating the breathtaking vistas of Imbé, Tramandaí, and Osório.

During the kayak adventure, you'll navigate through both artificial waterways and natural channels, observe a variety of native bird species, and journey through areas with sandy bottoms alongside others of deeper waters. Stop where the river meets the ocean to enjoy a picturesque view of the Morro de Borússia, with an opportunity for a refreshing swim if you choose.

After your swim, explore narrow passages that are accessible solely by kayak, leading to the Triangle of Waters—a junction where routes connect to Imbé, Tramandaí, and Osório. Make your way to Ilha Grande for a well-deserved break.

As we begin our return journey, we'll navigate back along the principal riverbed, passing behind Imbé to witness the striking juxtaposition of elegant homes and wild landscapes.

This engaging three-hour kayak excursion will come to an end as we smoothly return to our initial meeting point, capping off a remarkable experience.
