Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we will meet at 15 Union Street. After gathering, we will board a minibus to begin our journey into the breathtaking landscapes of the Highlands.

The tour will take you through some of the most emblematic scenes of Scotland, beginning with our first stop at the Clava Cairns. These prehistoric burial chambers, situated just 20 minutes from Inverness by the River Nairn, date back 4000 years. Fans of the series Outlander may recognize this site as inspiration for the fictional stone circle of Craigh na Dun.

Next, we'll travel to Cawdor Castle, one of Scotland's most picturesque fortresses. Upon arrival, we will explore its beautiful gardens and uncover its historical connections to Shakespeare's Macbeth. Legend states that King Duncan appointed General Macbeth as the Earl of Cawdor. Our visit will include a tour of the castle's rooms, all rich in history.

After approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes of sightseeing, we will have the opportunity to meet the charming red-headed Highland cows. The tour continues in the Scots Pine forest, home to the iconic Scots pine trees, showcasing a variety of natural landscapes.

It's time to take a break for refreshments; you'll have one hour of free time in Aviemore, where you can relax in one of the local restaurants.

With renewed energy, we'll proceed into the Cairngorms National Park, the largest in the UK. Experience the majesty of its mountains, rivers, lakes, and forest trails, and witness 5 of the 6 highest mountains in the country.

As our tour concludes, we will stop at a local farm where you can purchase handmade products if desired.

After approximately 8 hours, we will return to our meeting point in Inverness, marking the end of the tour.
