Your day begins at 9 am with a pickup from your hotel in Iquitos, followed by a drive to Nauta, a friendly town nestled in Peru's Loreto province.

During the trip, you'll traverse the vibrant wetlands and forests of the stunning Quistococha National Tourist Park. The route will also lead you through areas characterized by 'chamizales' and 'varillales', where white sandy soils are found within the Allpahuayo Mishana National Reserve. This scenic locale is perfect for birdwatching, and you may catch glimpses of many unique species.

By 10:30 am, you'll reach Nauta, recognized as one of the key river ports in the Peruvian Amazon. A guided tour of the town awaits, including a visit to the Sapi Sapi Lagoon, home to diverse wildlife such as the taricaya turtle, crocodiles, and the pirarucu fish. According to local lore, mysterious beings reside beneath the lagoon's surface, and there's much more to uncover during your exploration!

Afterward, you can recharge with a delightful picnic lunch before embarking on a serene boat ride along the Marañon River. This excursion will lead you towards the convergence with the Ucayali River, marking the source of the mighty Amazon.

Following a two-hour voyage, you'll arrive at the village of Grau, where breathtaking views await at the Mirador del Amazonas. After soaking in the spectacular panoramas, we'll navigate back to Nauta by boat.

The final leg of the journey takes us by road back to Iquitos, with an expected arrival at your hotel around 5:30 pm.
