Potosí Lagoon Boat Trip & Horse Riding
Your journey begins at 9 am with a pick-up from your Ixtapa Zihuatanejo hotel, followed by a transfer to Larga Beach for an exciting horse riding experience.
Upon arrival, you'll mount your horse for a scenic 1-hour ride along the beach. This delightful excursion offers enchanting views of coconut plantations, the majestic Sierra Madre del Sur mountains, and the impressive rock formations known as Morros de Potosí, rising dramatically from the Pacific Ocean.
After the ride, we'll depart on a boat bound for the Potosí Lagoon, a journey of approximately 30 minutes. As you navigate the waters, keep an eye out for various bird species including white and blue herons and storks. Additionally, you’ll encounter three different types of mangroves: red, black, and button.
The highlight of your day will be a scrumptious lunch at Barra de Potosí Beach. Choose from a selection of dishes such as shrimp, fajitas, or fish, paired with a refreshing salad, rice, and homemade tortillas.
After savoring the local cuisine, we will make our way back to Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, aiming to return to your hotel by 2:45 pm.

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo at 9 am. We recommend being ready in the hotel lobby 10 minutes early so we can avoid delays to the trip.

- You should wear closed-toe shoes and either shorts or long trousers to horse ride. In addition, we advise bring clothes for the beach and flip flops to walk on the sand afterwards.
