Immerse yourself in the natural beauty with a day dedicated to exploring Potosí Lagoon by kayak. We will also enjoy a soothing horse ride along the stunning Larga Beach, where breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean await.

Kayaking at Potosí Lagoon and Horse Riding at Larga Beach

The adventure begins at 9 am when we pick you up from your accommodations in Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and transport you to the Potosí Lagoon for an exciting kayaking experience. This will be followed by a delightful horseback ride along Larga Beach. Let’s set off!

During our 40-minute drive, enjoy the picturesque palm-lined coastline of the Mexican Pacific.

Upon arrival at the Potosí Lagoon, we will equip you with kayaking gear and set off, rowing through the serene waters while observing the diverse wildlife. Keep a lookout for one of the 200 species of birds that inhabit the area! After our kayaking session, we'll take a brief pause before moving on to the next adventure.

Next, we'll arrive at Larga Beach, where we will mount our horses and ride along 2 miles (3 kilometers) of sandy shores. As you trot, enjoy the refreshing breeze from the Pacific Ocean.

After our horseback excursion, you will have free time to enjoy some lunch before we make our way back to Ixtapa Zihuatanejo.

You can expect to be returned to your hotel by 3 pm.
