Excursion to Priene, Miletus & Didyma

Your experience begins at 8 am when we collect you from your accommodation in Izmir. We will immediately set off towards our initial stop: Priene.

This region is renowned for its numerous archaeological sites of significant historical relevance, and Priene is among the most notable. Upon our arrival, you will have the opportunity to wander through the remains of this ancient Hellenistic city and admire its remarkable Greek theater.

Following our time in Priene, we will make our way to the historic city of Miletus, located just a short distance away. Here, you'll have the chance to meander through the ruins and explore its vast amphitheater, a Byzantine fortress, and the Roman baths, along with a variety of other significant structures. Be prepared to capture countless photographs!

Our next destination will take us to the ruins of Didyma, also referred to as Didymaion. This site allows you to deepen your understanding of the region’s history as you visit the esteemed Temple of Apollo and uncover the intriguing legends surrounding the deities.

Following this enriching exploration, our guide will escort you to a traditional dining establishment for a delightful lunch. The offerings will feature a buffet-style menu, allowing you to sample a wide array of typical dishes from the region.

As our day comes to a close, we will return you to your hotel in Izmir, with an expected arrival time around 5 pm.
